City Of Culture Derry~Londonderry 2013

Im so happy that i can finally talk about my image!!! It was used in the official City of Culture document and until last week it was kept quiet, and you know how i cant keep secrets! lol Im really pleased with it and i had such a laugh doing it (well i was watching the Mr and his friend do it!) and i was even more pleased that i was then featured in the Belfast Telegraph. Thank you to everyone who supported me and for all the lovely comments you sent me, it is very much apprieciated :)

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a lovely easter! Iv been super busy setting up my new studio and iv had loads of shoots! Everyone seems to be interested in the special offer so im going to extend it for an additional month! Not long left on the wedding countdown!

Hi everyone!
Well there's only 6months left on the wedding countdown so lets get started!

6 months

• Choose and buy your attendants "thank you" gifts
• If you don't already do so, begin having regular beauty treatments e.g facial, manicure and pedicure

5 months

• Discuss arrangements for the hen and stag parties with your attendants
• Have your first dress fitting
• Apply for a new passport and driving licence if you are changing your name

4 months

• Arrange hair and beauty trials for the big day for you and your attendants
• If your having a civil ceremony, send your paperwork off to your registrar
• Finalise your guest list and start compiling a database of names and addresses - don't leave out postcodes!

Dont worry, with a little bit of time and effort (and some help from us) you'l have everything planned to perfection for the big day!!! Here we continue the Wedding Countdown with months 9 through to 6. Enjoy!

9 months

• If needed, reserve accommodation for your wedding guests
• Decide if you are going to have a wedding list and choose where you want it and also what you need!

8 months

• If you haven't already done so, order your wedding dress, shoes and accessories
• Choose and book wedding attire for the groom and his attendants
• Meet with your priest, minister or registrar to discuss readings and hymns that you would like as part of your service

7 months

• Book your honeymoon and arrange any vaccinations or visas you may need
• Set up a wedding gift list with the retailer of your choice
• Finalise your budget and make sure everything is going according to your plans

Well theres not long to go now and im sure your getting really excited! Remember that although you are working towards one big day, the whole experiance should be something to enjoy. If you find yourself getting stressed or panicked ask someone to help you. Mums and mums-in-law are always willing to help take the pressure off so LET THEM :)

Wedding countdown

Anybody who has ever had to plan a wedding knows that it is stressful! Here at Kayleigh Clarke Photography we want to help make life a little easier so we've compiled a little list to help you plan your big day!!!!

Top Priority....(12 months or more before)

• Set the date and contact your priest, minister or registrar to check your dates are suitable
• Work out a realistic budget
• View, choose and book your reception location
• Book your photographer, videographer and entertainment
• Draw up your guest list with approximate numbers

11 months

• Decide on your overall theme
• Start shopping for your wedding dress, shoes and accessories
• Choose your wedding party and let them know!
• Start looking at honeymoon destinations and decide on a budget

10 months

• Choose and order your stationery and favours
• Choose outfits and accessories for your bridesmaids
• Book your florist and wedding transport
• Sample and order your wedding cake
